counting numbers 1-20

One day when my son arrived home from school.  And we have a short conversation then:

My son : “Mom, I can’t count  1-20 when I was in school”.

Me:  “How come son?  While u learn every day, drawing, writing alphabet and also numbers.

My son:  Yes mom, but I don’t know how to count 13, 14, 15 and 18. Can u teach me, mom?

After having that short conversation, I started to make something for him. I print some sheet works with picture that numbering 11-20, and asked him to count it. He could count that, even there is mistake for 1 or two. But it’s good. And I gave him praise, good job son!

 I have to continually repeat it, so that he will not forget what he has learnt. And find out some ways to make him attractive to learn. And of course “a creativity” is needed here.  Children like something colored and attractive.

And I am trying to give him my best as mom. And this is a learning process. Even sometimes I feel tired but I am trying for not humble coz this is mom’s duty. His father also has his responsibility on our son in his way sure.
